Iron Man

Iron Man: The Iron Age Part 2 of 2
by Kurt Busiek, Richard Howell, Patrick Zircher, and Bob McLeod
Marvel, color, $5.99
rating: Neat-O

In constrast to Avengers #7, this is Kurt (with an assist from Richard Howell) in good form.  Not just good characterization, but good action, pacing, and all that other stuff that goes into making an exciting comic.  I think he really has a good feel both for Tony Stark and Iron Man and for the supporting cast as well. Last issue we got Pepper's point of view, now it's Happy's turn. It is a bit expensive for my tastes: I can get a whole volume of Ranma in Japanese for only slightly more than this costs, but I have to admit that I didn't really notice until I looked up the price to write this review, so I can't really claim to have felt ripped off.
