Saving the Dodo?

calendarlive.com: BOOKS - Comic strips' plight isn't funny

Cartoonists fear that newspapers aren't changing with the times to reach a print-averse younger generation.

I'm over forty, and I don't read comics in the newspaper any more. If you're not on the web, you're dead to me, and I can't think of a single thing you can do to change that. Sorry Cathy, sorry Berke, but there you might as well be talking about how to save the art of scrimshaw. You have to learn to seperate the art-form from the accident of its distribution method. Or you can go the way of the Dodo.
