Somehow I doubt it

I still get the occasional response to my online personal--usually it's from some implausible Russian, which I just delete without responding. Once in a while it's actually someone local, and I at least look at it and respond, even if the response is just a one of the canned generic rejections, along the lines of we live too far apart, I'm seeing someone, I'm not dating at the moment, etc. Yesterday I got one from a someone who, besides being into outdoorsy camping activities and going to church (two things which interest me not at all), seemed to have some baggage from her last relationship, judging by all the things she announced wasn't willing to put up with in a man. So I sent her the "Sorry, but I don't think we're a good fit." Usually that's the end of it, but I actually got a reply saying, "Too bad. Your loss."
And actually, her saying that probably made both of us feel better. Maybe that's what she intended, but somehow I doubt it.
