For the first time ever, I fell asleep on the train home and missed my stop. Fortunately I only missed it by two stops and only had to wait about 45 minutes for a train going back, but...brrr. Maybe it's a good thing that soon my commuting days will be over.
I take back everything nasty I thought about the Engulf and Devour merger (at least for now). My boss called to say that what with the re-arranging of the office space, I was going to lose my office...so would I prefer to work at home, or should they try to find some cubicle for me?
So starting some time soon, I'll be working from the comfort of my own home. No more time or money commuting, and no more city tax. That's like a 4% raise right there...
