The Land of Neng

The Land of Neng is my current fantasy RPG setting, one that I'm co-developing with my good friend Russell Impagliazzo.  Generally we kick around the ideas together, but I have final say in the area of Neng proper, while he owns the region known as the Crystal Palace far to the south; in part, this is so that we can be players in eachothers' campaigns, which would be difficult if we knew all the secrets.  We've been working on it for the past three years, approximately, and have actually run several campaigns, in both group and solo play.

John Kim has been keeping the Friends of the Fox campaign session log, for the group that he of which he was a member in Irvine.

I have an BlogRiPpinG entry, describing some of the campaigns that have been set in Neng, as well as some notes on the Rose Tower campaign.

I've been working on filling out Patricia Wrede's World-building questionnaire for Neng.  It's a pretty interesting way of building up detail, particularly about daily life and customs.  It's a lot of work, though, and difficult to do thoroughly if you're trying to cover more than once culture at a time.
